Regional Scout Training Centre, Chachra, Pulerhat, Jessore.

Introduction: Bangladesh Scouts Khulna Region is one of the most important and oldest region out of 12 region in Bangladesh, which is situated in the South-West part of the country. The Headquarters of this region is at Jessore 275 K.M. far from the capital city Dhaka. This Regional Headquarters cum Training Centre started its activity since 1963. This Regional Headquarters cum Training Centre established on a total area of 11.70 Acres land. This region consist of 11 district scouts including 01 Metropolitan Scouts.

Scout Strength: 17 Leader Trainers, 60 Assistant Leader Trainers, 327 Cub Wood Badgers and 402 Scout Wood Badgers are actively serving the movement of this region. About 6500 Cub unit leaders and 2600 Scout unit leaders involved to the movement to facilitate the young people to be a patriot & good citizen. Now this region enriched with .2 million scout membership.

Facilities:  All facilities are available here for organizing Training Course, Workshop, Seminar and Camps with natural atmosphere. At least 75 people can be easily accommodated here (with full bedding) at any Training course/Workshop/Seminar at a time. Dormitory, Session Hall-1 in three storied(2650 sft.), Cooking-Dining, Library and Session Hall-2 in two storied(1972 sft.) building ;Multimedia Projector, Laptop Support and field activities spaces are available (with 1272 sft. Half wall tin shed one pavilion and 168 sft. ten brick platforms) here.  At a camp at least 2500 people can be accommodated by the tent (250 pcs) pitching. Besides, seminar hall room-1 with 100 and seminar hall room-2 with 60 people accommodations, small meeting rooms and two VIP rooms are available in this Training Centre.

Cheapest and Comfortable for hire:  Rental based training courses run over round the year by various NGO’s, GO’s & other Institutes. The social community ceremonies, picnic also arranged regularly here. The rent is comfortably cheap here by any means.
